I came to Canada since 1997 as a new immigrant. After two years of struggling from job to job, I was introduced to the Market America business.
Initially, I used to perceive the Market America compensation plan just as a tool that could help me earn some extra money to help improve my standard of living. Thus, we started to push that view on other people to try to get them started in the business as well. However, after a few years of learning and growing within the Market America system, I realized that there’s a lot more to that. Now, I understand that building this business is about influencing others sincerely and wholeheartedly. We must first develop a more intimate relationship with people in order to find out how we can help them with the business and get them to understand why they would need it. We have to build a family environment. By becoming who we want to be, we attract the right people rather than trying to push an idea onto just anyone. We truly are in a business where one person’s success is an accumulation of many small successes within his/her organization.
For new UnFranchise® Owners, we need to understand that there’s a difference between a job and a career. Both will result in a different lifestyle. That’s why we have to treat our career in ma with a business owner’s attitude, not an employee’s. This is a system built for the average person. Don’t complicate things and always keep it simple. My new teammates understand that as long as they don’t give up, I’ll never give up on them. So the only way to build the business is giving it your all and getting it done right!
Regarding building stable organizations, we must develop a good relationship with people. We have to actually make an effort to build friendships with our partners. Then, the friendships allow us to plug our partners into the company’s system more naturally. Finally, through exposing them to the company’s events, they tend to fall in love not just with the people they work with, but also with the company’s system itself. Having our partners share the same vision as we do about the company is the key to building a solid and stable organization.
After all these years, I personally am reminded that the NMTSS is a cradle for our UnFranchise Owners to grow. The NMTSS is the best place for us to leverage because not only does it help us develop one or two specific business building skills, but it allows us to attain overall growth in the business and in life. A successful UnFranchise Owner is inseparable from the NMTSS. So if you want to be successful, you have to be plugged into the NMTSS.
I would like to thank JR and Loren for creating the Two- to Three-Year Plan that changed countless lives like mine for the better. I would also like to thank my sponsor for introducing me to this amazing business. Even more, I would like to thank my team and my partners who have strived with me from the beginning. We stayed at each other’s side through thick and thin and it all paid off! Finally, I would like to thank the people who made it difficult for my wife and I on our journey to success because the obstacles they put in our path were challenges that have helped us grow to become better distributors and even better entrepreneurs.
