Adriana Castro’s latest collection for Spring 2010 includes a brand new style, the “Loren Hobo,” named after Loren Ridinger. The “Loren Hobo” is a large, unstructured day bag with comfortable rounded handles, interwoven into the body of the hobo (Dimensions: 15 ½”H x 17 ½”W x 3”D). The stylish shape is also very practical and functional, providing enough room to carry all of the necessities a busy girl needs to get through her day, without sacrificing fashion.  The “Loren” is handmade in Colombia, created using Adriana Castro’s signature luxurious exotic skins, including python, The bag is also offered in ostrich and crocodile in shades of Natural, Royal Blue, Purple, Hot Pink, Green, Red, Black and Brown (More colors available upon request). As a young girl growing up in Colombia, Adriana Castro made frequent visits to her father’s zoocriadero (or crocodile farm) and developed a passion for crocodile.  It was during those years that she decided she would one day to turn her childhood dream into a reality and design a collection of accessories using the luxurious, exotic skins she had developed such a deep appreciation for. Adriana’s one of a kind, handmade, artisan pieces are wearable works of art for the most stylish woman of any age.  Bold colors and sensual textures give each piece in Castro’s collection extraordinary character and personality. The handbags, wallets, belts and other accessories in the collection are created with the intention to be mixed and matched; they are stylish, yet functional. Rich, yet delicate. Supple, yet sturdy. The versatility of her designs complement the finest couture or the simplest of casual. Adriana Castro’s designs embody the perfect balance of elegance and quality.
